<p>This week I'm joined by Nick, known in the game dev community as Vimlark. Vimlark is a game jam veteran who participates in sever game jams every year. In 2020, Vim managed to place in the top 20 submissions during the Game Makers Toolkit Jam with his game, <a href="https://vimlark.itch.io/make-the-way">Make the Way</a> . &nbsp;In this episode, we discuss the importance of creating a good user experience in games. We chat about one really appreciated UX element, and one that is often left out but highly sought after. We chat about our experience with Ludum Dare 41 (Combine two incompatible game genres) - my first ever game jam, in which August and I teamed up to create Death Fog Dash.
