The shadow self is bits and pieces of ourselves we have discarded because we were taught they weren't unacceptable. The shadow self is the reason we project our shame on others, the reason we create certain limits for ourselves. Basically our shadow is the part that we need to give our utmost love and understanding. So this is the part of self that deserves a happy valentine 🌹❤
