How to start studying Japanese
Most books suggest starting out with Hiragana and Katakana, two basic parts of the Japanese writing system.
But is this really the way to go?
In this episode I explain what really works when you are a complete beginner who doesn't have any idea yet what to do first.
Do you want to take part at my 3 day challenge for beginners and learn to build and understand first sentences by using basic grammar?

san, sama, kun, chan, sensei and the likes
Most probably you have heard kun or chan when watching anime.
But do you really know how to use these and other important honorifics correctly?
In this episode we well repeat what we learned in the last episode and extend our vocabulary and understanding of the Japanese culture.
Have a go at the example sentence :) repeat, take notes, listen once, twice, three times, for example when you do the laundry, take care of dirty dishes, cook, drive a car, commute to work/school etc.

Japanese writing system and basic Japanese sentence structure
Thank you so much everybody for listening to episode one! On to episode two! This episode focuses on the Japanese writing system AND basic Japanese sentence structure. It's way longer than episode one - so plan for around 40 minutes listening time.
Here some tips from your teacher Blueberry. (He is really trying his best - take a look at his face in concentration - he hasn't realized that he accidentaly got a mark from the marker he is holding in his hand.):
For best learning results I'd recommend you to take notes and try to repeat after me.
