It started off a sesh, now it's a coming of age with calamity, action, adventure, drama and lessons. The symbolism of humanity’s complexity is represented by Jay R. Midas’ collection of sunglasses. Like any classic adventure, there are artifacts to gather and Easter eggs to discover. Each aspect of Midas has its own unique quirk and gift. The “cast” of Jon E. Midas, 06’, BB Wayz, 'Nolito' and Rando bring personality, poetry, music, gems and puzzle pieces to bring reality and the poet back to wholeness. Mega Midas is the villain we all eventually fight.
The war inside, Chapters.

Chapter 6: Shut Up and Speak! Ep. 6- Poetry-Ception
National Poetry Month draws to a close...
Wait? There's an Episode after the "Finale"? If the previous episode takes place at the end of infinity, this would have to serve as one of the Prequels. Chapter 6, Episode 6 is the Episode 1?The term “mental gymnasatics” has been previously thrown around. Atypical. Purposeful convolution. If you rock with this, life changing. Thank you for your support, always.Jon E. Midas

Chapter 2.5: future!TENSE.
Happy Poetry Month! (April 2026)
Shout out to all my contemporaries in the craft. Near or distant, new or experienced, everyone who has been courageous enough to speak words of love, wisdom, heritage, education, connection and candor- thank you for your brave contribution to the world. Today I am revamping, revisiting, re-sharing one of my own projects from over 3 years ago. This would be the Chapter that turns an Audio Poetry Portfolio into a fictional adventure story where Jay R. Midas truly comes to life. Beyond the floating heads we have become used to. Enjoy the poetry as it should be- equipped with updated visuals, boosted sound, the whole chapter in one episode. A genre medium the Animated Poet and his collection of sunglasses had materialized has become the springboard for all types of amazing content that exist now! The Past and the Present have Converged. What does the future hold?
A collection reprised and updated from December 2022
Love and gratitude for all of your support in my work.
Now, let's go save the world...
Through poetry.
SCENES of future!TENSE.
Scene 1: "Who You Become"- Canon Remix
The year is 2088. The original solo version of these notes were first sung by a poet several decades ago in the year 2023.
Something seems to be happening. Welcome to
Jay R. Midas Chapters Chapter III: future!TENSE.
Scene 2: "Timeline Disturbance" (Skit n' Poem)
As mild mannered Jon attempts to summon Super Mega Poet Midas Level 3, time passes. Nefarious moves are being made to distort the timeline and the Day is now in need of a savior. Our hero must first find the "Nola's" (Midas' Sunglasses) to summon the power within. Will Jon be able to summon Midas? How much damage did that poetry blast set off? What was that catchy tune? All that and more won't be answered in later scenes.
Scene 3: "Wair Duz"- The Time Traveler's Edition
A reimagined rendition of "Wair Duz (https://youtu.be/t78ParSEWqM)", an interview style poem video poem has been altered because of the timeline split. A lost time traveler attempts to fit in. Does the weary Time Traveler find his destination?
Scene 4: "Greetings from 2088"
A message from the future! The voice that tells an ominous tale has cast out a beacon for you to transcribe.
Scene 5: "Filling."
In this short poem, Midas sees his many selves across the multiverse and attempts to return them home. Enjoy "Filling"!
Scene 6: "On the Other Side of a Blackhole" & Outro
Jay R. Midas closes out future!TENSE. with a thank you and a Poetry Reading. He's fully charged up to deliver his final poetry blast when he shares what life is like on the other side of a blackhole. Be on the lookout for the next installment of the 3rd Chapter, The Future is a 2nd Away!

Chapter 2.2.2. The Past Returns- Part 6: Hourglass [Chapter Finale]
2.2.2 Ep. 6 (Chapter Finale)
The future is going to look much different. For now however, we are dabbling in the past. Spellcastra and Yaj battle throughout the major story beats that brought us here. The opening line from "I'd Rather Be a Hero" is the bridge to the final poem of the Chapter, "A Wonder for the Future". If you have followed the story up until this point, thank you. This collage animation version of the story has reached its conclusion. Will there be touch ups in the future? Maybe. The return for all the work we do doesn't arrive the moment we ask for it. If it is worth it to one, birth be value. Forward is the direction, for the days ahead are stories still yet to be written. On a related note, back to the episode- C'mon Yaj, let's get it together, literally!Next Episode Continues... Chapter 7: Entering into the Sphere {of Clarity}
Chapter 2.2.2. The Past Returns
This chapter references the original audio piece Chapter 2.0 "The Past is Eternal". Originally stand alone poems from adolescence, now told from a completely different perspective. The final chapter without a visual retelling. So here it goes. Part Continuation. Part Hindsight. Part Promotional Content. Some of the same elements of the story you know. An approach you may not expect...It is now time to set the scene. Jay R. Midas is gone. The ink has taken over. Our beloved time minions take on the role of silent partners for an old friend who is asked to join in on a rescue mission. If you thought the Coming of Age tale was complete, check out the sequel to the prequel. This poetry set closes out with the original "Jay R. Midas Chapters" Series and enter into a new era of creativity. Chapter 2.2.2. The Past Returns Ep. 1-4 feat. Dayana- Thank you for your collaboration. You supported during "Pull Up and Perform", along with the small and mighty crew of talented people we got to share the stage with. I am now and forever will be grateful. We talked about lending your voice to the JRM series, here now is your very own character as you designed your avatar's face. Watch the fictional Dayana come to life in Chapter 2.2.2.
