Chapters 6-10 of Shadow Academy by Rebecca Moesta and Kevin J Anderson finally introduces the book's namesake: Brakiss' Shadow Academy. In this episode, we daydream about the Fox Kids show that never was, get a Carl jumpscare, Tenel-ka gets a plant turnt by accident, and both Meg and Lizzie meet their kryptonite: hot villains. This episode's listener question is: If you were kidnapped by the Empire and taken to the Shadow Academy, what is the one thing they could do to make you more comfortable and start to trust them? It's Not A Plot Device, It's A Bit
Jedi Academy Dropouts dives into the New Year with ringing in Shadow Academy by Rebecca Moesta and Kevin J. Anderson. After some definitely safe for kids activities with uncle Lando, the Solo twins are back at it with their favorite bit: getting kidnapped. Which happens to pull the lever for Tenel Ka and Luke avoiding a visit from a certain Hapan ambassador. The listener question for this episode is: Was there anything you did as a kid or adult that you didn’t think was going to be as dangerous as it was? All's Well That Ends...Not As Bad As It Could Have
Can you believe this episode is a wrap on "Heirs of the Force", the first book of the Young Jedi Knights Series by Kevin J. Anderson and Rebecca Moesta?! I sure can't, but we have great discussion on why Han Solo is the most difficult EU character to write, how Tenel-Ka is the ideal modern romantasy heroine, and this isn't the last we'll see of Qorl. Our listener question isn't a question, it's a call for your best Star Wars joke! If you don't have an original one that's homemade, store bought is fine too (or semi-homemade)! Everyone, Meet Carl
It's bad news woolamanders in chapters 11-15 of "Heirs of the Force" for Jacen, Jaina, Lowie, and Tenel-Ka when Qorl takes them hostage. Tries to, anyway- Lowie and Tenel-Ka manage to escape while Jacen and Jaina are taken captive. This week's listener question: What would you do if you were surrounded by woolamanders?

Hot Wookie Walk
In this episode, Meg and Lizzie discuss chapters 6-10 of "Heirs of the Force" where some deep Luke lore gets dropped and the Solo twins, Tenel-Ka, and Lowbacca get up to some shenanigans and find a relic of the past. Our listener question for this episode is: What modifications would YOU make to a tie-fighter?
