Interview mit Volt Göttingen und die Präsidentschaftswahl in den USA (31.10.2020)
<p>Kurz vor den US-Wahl diskutieren Lech und Benedict aus der JEF Organisation mit Valeriia. Sie ist Vorsitzende in Göttingen bei der paneuropäischen Partei Volt. Wem Volt noch nichts sagt oder Genaueres zum Parteiprogramm wissen möchte, der sollte reinhören. Soviel ist schonmal gesagt, die Partei Volt hat bereits einen Sitz im Europaparlament und möchte sich weiterhin etablieren, um ihre Ziele weiterhin nachhaltig durchzusetzen.</p> <p>Die ganze Welt schaut auf die US-Wahlen, wie wirkt sich das auf uns alle und die EU aus? Diese Fragen stellen wir uns in der anschließenden Diskussion zu dritt. Ob sich der Handelskrieg auf andere Länder mit Trump ausweitet oder mit Biden wieder zu einer Normalisierung der Konfrontationen mit der Weltpolitik kommt. Wir versuchen erste Prognosen abzugeben.</p>

Die EU-Ratspräsidentschaft (25.07.2020)
<p>Die EU-Ratspräsidentschaft hat dieses Jahr am 1. Juli begonnen. Dabei übernehmen drei Länder (Deutschland, Portugal, Slowenien) abwechselnd im sechsmonatigen Rhythmus die Präsidentschaft im Rat der Europäischen Union und versuchen gewisse Themen mehr in den Fokus zu setzen.</p> <p>Heute diskutieren Phillip, Lech und Benedict darüber, was die Bundesregierung Deutschland in seiner EU-Ratspräsidentschaft erreichen möchte und geben eine persönliche Einschätzung ab. Viel diskutiert wird außerdem eine Vergemeinschaftung von Schulden im Bezug auf den EU-Wiederaufbaufonds. An welche Kriterien ist es geknüpft? Wie schätzen wir als JEF die Situation ein?</p> <p>Ebenso bleibt spannend, wie der Beitrittsprozess mit den Balkanstaaten weiter vorangetrieben wird und wieso der Europäischen Union vorgeworfen wird, sich während der Corona-Krise unsolidarisch gegenüber anderen Ländern verhalten zu haben.</p>
