Dead woman identified after Legens/SWAT gun battle
<p>Anthony Legens shot at SWAT and was killed at his home in Cedar Hill. Police say 31-year-old Tanya Gould of Cedar Hill was found dead in the home afterwards. She was already dead before police got there. The deputy who took a bullet is still recovering. // Vicky James was chosen to take the place of Jim Terry who resigned from County Council district 7 // COVID status is still YELLOW. JeffCo Deputy wounded and suspect killed in Cedar Hill
<p>Sheriff Dave Marshak says one of his SWAT team members was shot and wounded in a two gun battle with a possible homicide suspect. Although the bullet missed his vest, the officer is expected to survive. // 11-year-old boy drowns in the big river // County Council will pick new councilperson to fill District 7 vacancy soon // The use of masks is on a steady decline as COVID cases continue to drop and more vaccines are made available in JeffCo // Festus 8 (B&B Theaters) is now open 7 days a week in time for Memorial Day weekend (Movies: Quiet Place 2 and Disney's Cruella open this weekend) // SPORTS: Jefferson Blue Jays are going to the state final 4!</p>
