Today we are getting back on the trend of underrated Black athletes for Black History Month. We are looking at Arthur Ashe Jr. The first Black athlete to win the US Open Title and Wimbledon. He lived a very interesting life as a pioneer for the Black community in tennis, a political activist against racism and apartheid, and someone with a lot of influence in raising awareness and support for AIDS. He was a trailblazer in every sense with an indomitable spirit. Hope you enjoy.

Hello! happy Black history month. I'm happy to be participating in a project in which I will be making episodes on more underrated Black athletes that have had strong influence on the advancement of Black people through their sports tenure. We all know about Lebron James and Michael Jordan and Jackie Robinson which is why I wanted to speak more on Black athletes that did not have as much buzz. I felt it was appropriate to talk about Doug Williams, the first Black QB to start and win the Super Bowl, given the Super Bowl coming up starting 2 Black QBs facing off for the first time ever. Black Fatherhood
On the first episode of the Jem Arrow Podcast, I sat down with two important people to me in the topic of Black Fatherhood. Jamone Davis, a Communications graduate that became a young father at the tail end of his Bachelor pursuit, and my own father.
