Have you ever seen the picture of the horse tied to a chair, with the caption that says..
"Sometimes the thing that is holding you back is all in your head?"
Sound about right? Yeah, It was for me too. See the thing is...once we expose ourselves to a particular influence for long enough.. social media, social groups, or environments. We likely become unconsciously conditioned and before we know it we walk, talk and think a certain way and acquire certain habits to match. Part of this conditioning comes with a phantom fact, that certain things NEED TO HAPPEN in order for you to continue to BE. You do these things, but inside you are heavy.. unhappy and feel like you wish you could just start over and make new choices. This episode is here to remind you that you can. Cheers to your journey!

The Middle - I don't know who I am
Here I was... healing... broken down and stripped of all the ways I no longer felt served by.. what a relief! But wait... now that I no longer have these titles, labels and beliefs... who am I? This is where I found myself about 3 months into my healing. I was off social media, moved to another city, and committed to becoming my own source of happiness and purpose. I finished breaking down and letting all the feelings and hurt out, and slowly adjusted to my new skin. It was like meeting myself for the first time and it was here that I came face to face with a harsh reality. Without my labels, conditioning and environment telling me who I should be... I had no idea who I truly was.

The Art of Suffering
"THE SUFFERING" = THE BREAKDOWN OF "THE OLD WAY". I know, I know... it sounds scary, but it is actually really magical. You see, in order to fill our lives with better, healthier and more beneficial people, places and things, we have to first detach and let go of the things that are not serving us. Depending on your current attachment level to these things, you are either going to be ready to start building yourself up..or...if you are like me (I was extremely attached to everything, thought and circumstance in my life) ..you have an extra step...BREAKING DOWN THE OLD WAY. For those who are more solo and unattached on this journey, grab a seat and kick back for this episode. For the rest of us? On we move to the art of suffering. Cheers! - Jem

Step Zero - The REAL first step to healing and why you should be proud of yourself!
So you did it huh?
You hit the point where you finally said it... "I can't live like this anymore".
GOOD!
I want to pause you right here!
Before you go thinking that something is wrong with you and that you just can't get a grip on life, I want to feed you the TRUTH.
Ready?
THIS IS YOU HAVING A GRIP ON YOUR LIFE!!
Look around you! (real life, not on social media). Do you see all the people living on auto pilot? Just going through the motions? Living a hollow life? That is the alternative! That is what happens when people are too scared, too embarrassed, or too prideful to admit that they don't like the way their life is going and seek change. This world will make you think that what you are feeling is weakness. I am here as your assurance and PROOF that this raw and truthful acknowledgment is one of the bravest things you will ever do. YOU ARE BRAVE AF! AND I AM PROUD OF YOU!
You NEEDED to know how big this moment is. Like REALLY know. Otherwise you would have missed it....this wave.. YOUR wave.
Get ready.... This is where the ride begins!
Cheers to your Journey,
Jem
