Park Hills Assembly is a local church with a global message. Pastor Jeremy Jones was set free from drugs, lust, and hatred. God has prepared him over the last 25 years for such a time as this. The messages that you'll hear are meant to activate you and prepare you to encounter God in such a way that everyone around you will encounter God's presence. God is preparing his people for an awakening of national proportions. We intend to be on the frontlines through prayer & intercession.
What causes salt to lose its flavor and its preserving power? What makes salt useless?
In Part 2 of Stay Salty, My Friends, we're looking at how Christians go from being defined by devotion to Jesus, prayer and Scripture to being more influenced by culture than by Christ.
Salt loses its effectiveness when other things get mixed in. The same is true spiritually. Where there's compromise and mixture, deception is sure to be found.
Can you recognize when you've deceived yourself or been deceived by culture? When was the last time God's Word exposed a lie, corrected you, and brought you to repentance?

Stay salty my friends.
Jesus told His followers, “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned?” We are called to be distinct, but salt and sugar can look remarkably similar. In a world where deception doesn’t announce itself, believers must develop the spiritual maturity to discern good from evil, truth from deception, and the precious from the vile. If we lose what makes us distinct, how can we influence the world around us?
Questions to Consider:
Have I maintained what makes me distinct as a follower of Christ?
Can I recognize the difference between truth and something that only resembles it?
Am I examining my own life and fruit?
Have I allowed the world to influence me more than I influence the world?
Am I still “salty”?
