You're in the right place. In this podcast we're reading the book of Matthew, the gospel that was written in Hebrew specifically intended for a Jewish audience. Each week I will read through a chapter with special guest and we will discuss the all the history and cultural references taking place, while also having some fun.
Completely new to the Bible? No problem - I've got you! The first episode of the podcast I lay out the story of the Old Testament in an hour to give you a good foundation on what everyone is talking about in the New Testament. And in the second episode I go over everything that happened in the 400 years between the Old Testament and the gospels (WHICH IS HUGELY IMPORTANT!).
