Who is Jesus? When you hear the name Jesus, you might think a myriad of different things. Jesus might be a name you heard when you were a kid in Sunday school. Jesus might be a cuss word. Jesus might be someone you pray to occasionally. Jesus might be someone that christians are into. Jesus might be your enemy. What if Jesus was in fact the person He claims to be, the Son of God who is deserving of all our praise and worship?
On this show we will dive into the pages of Scripture to discover everything the Bible says about Jesus. We will do this through the study of the New Testament of the Bible chapter by chapter and read what it says, understand it in its ancient context, and discover how it can be applied in our lives. I am your host, Jesse Blair.
God sees us from our first breath to our last and He knows just how fragile even the strongest among us are. Yet in His graciousness He offers life support through prayer. Jesus begins chapter eighteen with two parables about how people ought to receive that life support.

Luke 17:20-37 - God in You
I remember I was about 13 years old at a church service. Suddenly, a flash of lightning followed by roaring thunder in the night sky. My sister uttered with quivering lips, “is it the second coming?” That experience made me think, Jesus can come at any moment. Am I ready to meet Him? The title of the final 18 verses in my New King James Version of Luke 17 is, “The Coming of the Kingdom.” Jesus speaks a tremendous amount about judgment in Luke. Are we taking Him seriously?

Luke 17:1-19 - Godly Faith
What is faith? A sports team is struggling and the coach might tell the players, “ya gotta have faith.” A counselor might tell a discouraged patient, “I have faith in you.” Someone who considers themselves religious might say, “I’m a person of faith.” But what is faith, really? As you read through the Bible, you see examples everywhere of what true saving faith is.
