A God that delights in forgiveness

We as humans, don't easily forgive and forget making it really easy that our creator has those same characteristics. WELL, I'm here to tell you that our God, El-Shaddai (God Almighty), Yahweh (I am), Emmanuel (God is with us), whatever you may call him, our God is not like that. Though it may be hard to understand as our pettiness comes in the way :(, God actually loves and rejoices in forgiving me. In forgiving you. So long as we come to Him, and wholeheartedly repent, He is MORE than willing to forgive you.

   ~BUT I will be with u <3

In this episode of Jesus, Prince of Peace, Risa, your host, talks about how God will always be with us, and how our circumstances will only encourage God to work in our lives because at the end of the day, it's for this glory, so why would he need our little might for his glory? He doesn't! Once the God of Moses, Jeremiah, and Gideon, says He will be with you, trust, He will be with you because He will. Isaiah 43:4-5 ESV "Because you are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you, I give men in return for you, peoples in exchange for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your offspring from the east, and from the west I will gather you. I will say to the north, Give up, and to the south, Do not withhold; bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the end of the earth, everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made."

   Well, what if I fall?

The road looks rough from here.. I haven't been where you want to go yet so I can't tell you the road gets smoother along the way but I can tell you this from I've seen, heard and experienced, the God your following, your ancestors also followed, that is Jesus and he has never failed. Not once! So since we can't rely on ourselves, (rightfully so) give it all to Him. He who is mighty, knows what you've been through and He is mighty as he is compassionate as he is a loving father. Psalm 40:7-8 NLT 7 Then I said, “Look, I have come. As is written about me in the Scriptures: 8 I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.” Psalm 37:23 The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

Finding God leads to finding yourself

Hey lovelies!!!! So much to go through during this episode but the main things that I talked about was, don't do God's work for him! Don't be mad at yourself for him. Don't judge for him. Leave it all to God, He's got this! Judges 6:24

It's okay to admit that we don't have it altogether. God does though, that's x1000 more than enough!

In times you feel like nothing is going right, it's not as easy as it seemed to be, something got in the road and you were unprepared for such scenarios, remember that God has it altogether, including your purpose. If we would just put both of out feet in, allowing him to look through our darkest times so he COULD shine his light. Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you.3Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.- Isaiah 60:1-3 NIV The light shine in the darkness, and the light had not overcome it.- John 1:5 NIV Let him be your light in the darkness

   Greenhouse

Who would we be if God kept a record of our sins? Of the may times we ran out of the greenhouse looking for an unknown place to call home? Leaving our provider, who provided and still provides for us more love than any other source in this world could ever provide? Who cares so much, more than the things we admire could ever care for us? Who gave us so much, more than the things we love could ever give us? Because He is indeed the life, the way, and the truth. He is indeed love. He is indeed home. The greenhouse is where our heart is, so may our hearts be with the almighty and stay with the almighty. Psalm 130: 1-4

Love my neighbor as myself, but how?

We often hear about the ten commandments, but have you ever thought to yourself... "well which is the greatest one out of the ten?" Jesus actually gives us an answer to that question and he says in Mark 12: 28-34 NIV "One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” 29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[c (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark%2012%3A28-34&version=NIV#fen-NIV-24705c)] There is no commandment greater than these.” 32 “Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. 33 To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” In Jesus, Prince of Peace, we explore that a little bit. Audio cut a lil early but what I meant to say is, may the Lord Jesus Christ be with you and dwell with you.

Cast you cares on Him for He cares for you

Cast your cares on God for He cares for you. He does! More than you could ever imagine actually. This episode talks a little about what it feels like when we run away from God, why we feel like that and, well... how we can change that. We remember that the same spirit that rose Jesus Christ from the dead is the same spirit that works within us and that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow! The same way he was forgiving towards us yesterday, is the same he is merciful, loving and forgiving towards us, today. * For the part where I said that God is the good soil, about that...I think the good soil is our hearts and faith instead. I had a hard time trying to see what the good soil would represent but wouldn't the good soil be the heart that hears the word and applies it in their daily life even in times of trouble? Wouldn't it be the type of faith that hears the word and takes hold of it and refuses to let it go even in times of trial? Something to think about in the new week lol Hebrews 13:8 ESV - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

    He will give you rest

"Remember the word that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying, 'The Lord your God is providing you a place of rest and will give you this land.' - Joshua 1:13 NASB 1995 We spend so much time trying to find peace in things that aren't everlasting, drinking from water that will only make us thirstier... Well, God gave us a free gift, an everlasting source of Living Water. Himself! May we learn to give ourselves to God almighty and our troubles as well. May we seek him and find him in our hearts. With His Word in us. So that even when it feels like the world is in distress, we could look up to him because for him, nothing is impossible not even our greatest battles!

If the son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

In today's episode, we talk about the sequence of events that led up to the Jesus and John the Baptist's birth. We see what we can learn from it... which is a lot! Knowing that our God is mighty and capable. He is able to give a child to a woman of old age (Elizabeth) and Zechariah, and a virgin (Mary) and Joseph. We see that we serve a God who remembers our calls even when we've lost hope and who will pick us up when the enemy tries to put us down. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 John 9 :: NIV. As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" "Neither this man nor his parents sinned," said Jesus, "but this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.

Our ways are not His ways

Out with the old and in with the new! As we step into the new year of 2022, we say goodbye to our old ways of living which was looking through the world's eyes and we say hello to God's lenses. The lenses that allows us to trust that even if we don't know what's going on, we can feel and we can confide in our God, trusting that his ways are mightier than ours. Re-defining what we see a mighty person as and changing it to how God defines it, with the help of looking through his Word. Learning that there's a lot that the world won't see but God knew before the world was even created. Take it up to the creator... he knows and may God bless you and bless you indeed.
