Whether you're looking for biblical truth, practical encouragement, or thoughtful conversations that point back to Christ, Jesus Talk with Tay is a place to grow in your faith and learn how the gospel transforms every area of life. Join the conversation as we seek to know Jesus more, follow Him faithfully, and let His Word shape how we live, think, and engage with the world.
What if some of the things competing for our worship aren't necessarily bad things? What if they're things we genuinely enjoy—but have slowly given too much of ourselves to?
In this episode of Jesus Talk with Tay, we're talking about idolatry, wholehearted devotion, and the beauty of Jesus. Beginning in Revelation 5, we see the victorious Lamb of God, the only One worthy of our worship. But what does that mean for the things we give our attention, emotions, identity, and hope to today?
Through an illustration from sports fandom, we'll examine how easily good things can become ultimate things, and how our relationship with them can even shape the way we respond to God.
Then, turning to Matthew 5:8 and Psalm 27:4, we'll consider what it means to be pure in heart, wholly devoted to the Lord, and captivated by His beauty.
The goal isn't to stop enjoying the good things in life. It's to put them in their proper place beneath the One who is worthy of it all.

Episode 4: The Grace of Lament
Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note. (https://rss.com/podcasts/jesus-talk-with-tay/voicemail)
What do we do when life hurts, our circumstances don’t make sense, and we’re struggling to understand how God is still good?
In this episode of Jesus Talk with Tay, we dive into Psalm 13 and explore the grace of lament—what it looks like to bring our pain, questions, and emotions honestly before God without losing our trust in Him.
Through David’s prayer, we’ll walk through four movements of lament: turn to God, complain to God, ask of God, and trust in God. Lament gives us permission to be honest with God while reminding us that our pain doesn’t have to be the end of the story.
Because sometimes God doesn’t immediately change our circumstances—but He invites us to see Him differently in the middle of them.
Life is hard, but God is good. To cry is human, but to lament is Christian.

Episode 3: Christ in Me (Part II)
In Part 2 of Tay’s testimony on Jesus Talk with Tay, the story continues with some of the most significant seasons of his life: becoming a father, walking through the consequences of sin, losing his grandfather, getting married, and being called into ministry.
Throughout it all, one theme keeps coming back: God’s grace is enough.
Tay reflects on how the Lord has worked through both the joyful and difficult seasons of his life, and how the local church has been a pillar through fatherhood, loss, marriage, and ministry. He also talks about the importance of remembering God’s faithfulness—looking back at the moments when God carried us so that we can trust Him in the moments we're walking through now.
This isn't a perfect story or a detailed biography. It's another look at God's story through Tay's life, with Jesus as the main character.
God has been faithful.
Take some time to reflect on your own testimony, remember what Christ has brought you through, and taste and see that the Lord is good.

Episode 2: Christ in Me (Part I)
In this two-part episode of Jesus Talk with Tay, Tay begins sharing his testimony—not simply as a story about who he was, but as a story about what Jesus has done, is doing, and continues to do by His grace.
Tay talks about why Christians should know, reflect on, and share their testimony, and why our testimony should continually progress as Christ changes us. He shares his story through three different voices from three different seasons of his life, all pointing to the same name: Jesus.
Part 1 covers his childhood, coming to faith, football and identity, the impact of Christian hip hop, discipleship, receiving his first study Bible, and preparing to enter college while learning what it means to openly live for Christ.
This isn't ultimately Tay's story. It's God's story. It's Jesus' story in his life.
