<p>The Great Divorce by C. S. Lewis is a theological dream vision about a bus ride from Hell (the Grey Town) to the outskirts of Heaven (the Valley of the Shadow of Life).In Lewis's vision, Hell is not a pit of fire, but a vast, dreary, drizzling city where it is always twilight. It expands infinitely because residents cannot stand each other and keep moving further apart.
