[…] And so Judaism has been such a core part of violin and my performance and what I speak about as well. And all the decisions and the situations that I've been in with this passion of mine. And so it's just so core to what I've been doing. It's not separated. It's not one or the other. You know, I feel like the topic of why would Hashem give me this talent or this passion if I can't realize it sort of in the typical way. I don't think it's, you know, for violin where concerts are mostly on Friday nights. Certainly the issue comes up with female singers and the topic of kolisha, which is very challenging and a variety of different ways where someone could feel like they have a natural talent and it somehow, you know, goes up against halakha and almost a feeling of choosing or not being able to be in the mold.
