Journalisten Lammert de Bruin en Babs Assink, bekend van podcasts als De Showbizzmoord, Mathilde's Mysterie en De Butlermoord, duiken diep in opvallende nationale en internationale misdaadzaken. In dit derde seizoen van hun serie 'Lammert & Babs' staat Bureau Warmoesstraat centraal. Drugs, prostitutie, gokken en moorden op de Amsterdamse Wallen zorgden ervoor dat Bureau Warmoesstraat het bekendste politiebureau van Nederland werd. Maar ook corruptie en de boeken, series en films van oud-rechercheur Appie Baantjer droegen daaraan bij. Bijna 25 jaar geleden sloot het markante bureau zijn deuren, maar de verhalen zijn nog niet vergeten. Lammert en Babs halen deze verhalen op bij betrokkenen door met ze terug te gaan naar de plekken op de Wallen waar het allemaal gebeurde.
