EP3 Our Takes On Greek Life and Rape Culture

As members of a sorority, we are going to take you through our thoughts on joining Greek Life, including the pros and cons of Greek Life, and the more sensitive topic–rape culture in Greek Life. Unlike the previous episodes, this episode is a more informal conversation, so sit through and enjoy! The hosts for this week are Alyssa Lee, Melody Lee, and Susan Liu.

The song section for this week is brought to you by Jennifer Gao. She explains the history of slut-shaming, which is a common form of victim-blaming, through the story of a Geisha (Chinese opera actor). The song presented is a Mandarine song called Chief Red (赤伶 or Chi Ling) by the Chinese singer HITA (彌兒).
