EP8：爾灣槍案
<p>爾灣槍擊案的幾個延伸 <br /> <br />雖然中文都一樣叫「台灣基督長老教會」，但爾灣教會的英文是Taiwanese P. C.，爾灣的「母會」柑縣教會則是Formosan P. C.，跟台灣的P. C. T.（Presbyterian Church in Taiwan）不同，儘管內部第一代成員可能大量是由PCT移民至美國，但組織上無隸屬關係。這其實表現出一種對於殖民宣教觀的反省。也就是說，在當地已有教會的情況下，宣教應該尊重並以輔助的角色進行，目的是讓被宣教的對象能夠融入當地教會，而不是組成某某台灣教會的海外分會。 <br /> <br />對於長期參與國際基督教組織的PCT來說，最終就是所有海外台灣人教會都會加入當地的教派。以爾灣來說，就是成為PC(USA)的一份子，PC(USA)是美國最大的長老會教派（其次是PCA，最粗略的分法，就是PC(USA)比較開放，而PCA在社會議題上比較保守）。而不傾向某些教派以國外分部去經營一個異地教會，在宣教倫理上有顯著的差異。 <br /> <br />有一些討論導向陰謀論，並談到海外的統派彷彿時空凍結，無法跟上台灣的民主化進展。關於時空凍結，很可能是對的，但並不是只有統派，台派也一樣。在2019-2020間，蔡英文與賴清德在爭取民進黨總統提名時，就可以看出相似的現象，海外台僑高度支持金孫，顯然與台灣內部的景況有很大的落差。迄今，論文門仍在台美人社群裡有市場。其實這讓我直接想到台灣1987年解嚴，但金門與馬祖作為前線，遲至1992年解嚴，五年之間的民主化腳步對居民的生活思維影響，已有很大的落差。 <br /> <br />今年台灣紀念馬偕來台150週年，並推崇他將台灣視為最後的住家，身後也葬於此，來表彰一個「定根於本土的信仰」，每回談到台美人的定位，我都會不禁想到，對於一位移民，是否更應該以當地為依歸，而不是試圖以自己的身分回過頭來影響台灣。或許對移民第一代來說不容易，畢竟每個人離開的理由不同，但第二代以後，或許自然而然會往這樣的方向前進（這也呼應前面提到的加入當地的教會）。 <br /> <br />受難的鄭醫師就是這樣一位已經不太說台語的第二代，也因此，他的犧牲顯得更為無辜。上一輩的恩怨與他無關，宛如替贖而死的耶穌一樣，為事件提升一個層次。我不喜歡太早標示「英雄」，因為這對受難者家屬來說是更大的刺激；我也不喜歡太快講和好，因為這會忽視去剖析造成仇恨毒素的源頭。 <br /> <br />儘管無法直接對比，但我第一時間就想到了林宅血案，當年那個流血的地方，今天成為教會；今年流血的地方，也會化為每個台灣人/台美人心中的土壤，願我們今日種下堅毅，開出有盼望的未來。 <br /> <br />留言告訴我你對這一集的想法： <a href="https://open.firstory.me/user/ckz7sdd6rfgiw0859lirsv0mf/comments">https://open.firstory.me/user/ckz7sdd6rfgiw0859lirsv0mf/comments</a></p> <br /> <br/>Powered by <a href="https://firstory.me">Firstory Hosting</a>

EP7：修訂家譜
<p>基督徒家譜改版有感 <br /> <br />撰寫家譜其實是一件迷人的事，每個先祖都是一個故事，而這些故事互相有交集，最終會寫到自己的身上來，交織成自己的故事。尤其基督徒早年被視為不孝，透過撰寫家譜，也是再一次彰顯出信仰中對先人的紀念。基督徒在撰寫家譜時，更有著恩典的主軸，從家譜中可以追尋上主持續的帶領與施恩賜福。 <br /> <br />修訂家族的家譜，除了有信仰傳承的意涵，也在記錄各地區、族群等不同先祖的來歷時，塑造更多元寬廣的開放心胸，及落地生根的在地意識。而這樣一本具有歷史感的家譜，除了是微觀的民族史，對個人來說，也成為一種在浩瀚宇宙中的立足點，透過這些人物的交織，而找到自己當下時空的安全感。 <br /> <br />也有很技術上的問題，譬如籍貫與出生地的差異，用詞的修改等，進一步更有族群文化的不同，而導致對系譜建構方式的差異，以及紙本上所難以企及的個別差異。譬如達悟族人在姓名欄的使用上，不僅欄位需要夠長，而且因為人生各階段的改名，也導致姓名欄需要隨著人生階段而擴增。 <br /> <br />雖然調整的部份有限，但是思考這個問題，就是一種進步；理解與尊重，就是一種共生。 <br /> <br />留言告訴我你對這一集的想法： <a href="https://open.firstory.me/user/ckz7sdd6rfgiw0859lirsv0mf/comments">https://open.firstory.me/user/ckz7sdd6rfgiw0859lirsv0mf/comments</a></p> <br /> <br/>Powered by <a href="https://firstory.me">Firstory Hosting</a>

<p>從馬偕來台150週年談起 <br /> <br />從去年開始，就有許多單位為了今年的「馬偕來台宣教150週年」而有所動作，然而做為長老教會信徒，第一個疑問是，為什麼系列活動不叫做「北台灣宣教150週年」，而單單強調馬偕一人？150週年的紀念，可以更有脈絡，提到更多的人物與事件，限縮在馬偕一人，將馬偕跟今日的個人直接連結，將中間150年的傳承與積累都抽空，難道另有目的？ <br /> <br />學習馬偕時，也應該看看馬偕的缺點，為什麼他跟黎約翰牧師有過激烈的爭執？也許馬偕不是你所想像的那個樣子，從一個更立體的馬偕形象，我們才能進一步討論他的精神遺產；我們也藉由這次機會，重新看到上主在教會的工作。若是長老教會信徒，聚焦馬偕之餘，應更努力補起中間這150年的血肉；若是其他教派的信徒，也期盼能往回追尋自己的傳承；若是非信徒，歡迎來認識馬偕。 <br /> <br />留言告訴我你對這一集的想法： <a href="https://open.firstory.me/user/ckz7sdd6rfgiw0859lirsv0mf/comments">https://open.firstory.me/user/ckz7sdd6rfgiw0859lirsv0mf/comments</a></p> <br /> <br/>Powered by <a href="https://firstory.me">Firstory Hosting</a>
