Jonathan Pearce
The penultimate episode of season two is a sports commentary special, and who better to welcome to the show than the brilliant Jonathan Pearce. Jonathan’s instantly recognisable football commentary has been the perfect accompaniment to many great moments over his incredible forty-year career, and ‘JP’ continues to operate as a front-line commentator for leading football broadcasters. As well as covering over 3,000 football matches including 10 World Cups, Jonathan was the voice that helped make TV show ‘Robot Wars’ as popular as it was in the late 90s/early 2000s.
Listen as Jiffy, Stubbsy and Jonathan discuss all things commentary, JP's favourite ground to commentate at, 'Robot Wars' and a surprise appearance on 'Doctor Who'!
