A lack of understanding of disability is worrying and secondly oppressed communities allowing themselves be put against each other to the benefit of neither.&nbsp;</p><br><p>The rhetoric from many high profile Black people was particularly disappointing and offensive to many with disabilities.&nbsp;</p><br><p>BAFTA and the BBC both failed their audiences. But my interest isn’t with either of these institutions. My focus is on Black people doing better.
