<p>It might be an old story, but I don’t care. This was as equally interesting as it was concerning. A lack of understanding of disability is worrying and secondly oppressed communities allowing themselves be put against each other to the benefit of neither. </p><br><p>The rhetoric from many high profile Black people was particularly disappointing and offensive to many with disabilities. </p><br><p>BAFTA and the BBC both failed their audiences. But my interest isn’t with either of these institutions. My focus is on Black people doing better.
