The Nicholas Browning Case
Nicholas Browning was fifteen years old when he murdered his parents and two younger brother. According to court documents Nicholas Browning would fatally shoot his parents and his two younger brothers then would spend the next two nights at a friends house before telling anyone what had happened. Eventually Nicholas Browning would tell his friend who would notify the police who made the gruesome discovery. The Roberto Martinez-Marinero Case
In June 2015, after arguing with his mother about whether he put his girlfriend and kids above the rest of his family, 25-year-old Roberto Martinez-Marinero of Omaha, NE beat his mother with a baseball bat and repeatedly stabbed her before dumping her still-living body in a ditch. His mother would die of the wounds she sustained. During his psycho tantrum, Marinero also threw his four-year-old brother off a bridge above the Elkhorn River and tossed his 11-month-old half-brother into a dumpster. Not exactly the best way to illustrate you put your family above your girlfriend.

The Case of Isabella Guzman
Isabella Guzman, accused of fatally stabbing her mother 79 times in Aurora, sent her an e-mail the day before that said, "You will pay," according to an arrest affidavit filed Friday.
Guzman and her mother often fought, but the teenager had become "more threatening and disrespectful" toward Yun-Mi Hoy in recent days, her stepfather, Ryan Hoy, told authorities. Her mother had grown so fearful that she called Aurora police, who on Wednesday afternoon warned Guzman that her mother could kick her out of their home if she did not shape up.

She alleged the crime was a response to their "tiger parenting" into her mid-20s. The crime took place at the Pan residence in Unionville, Markham, Ontario, in the Greater Toronto Area. Journalist and author Jeremy Grimaldi stated that the affair "captivated many, if for nothing else than the sheer intrigue of a case involving matricide, a rarity in Canada."[1] Pan was found guilty on multiple charges and sentenced to life imprisonment with no possibility of parole for 25 years, the same penalty as her co-conspirators

Brenda Andrew was a stay-at-home mom and Sunday school teacher. She had married her high school sweetheart, Rob, and together they had two beautiful children. But at the age of 40, Brenda was having a midlife crisis. She and Rob separated.
In November of 2001, Rob stopped by to pick up the kids and went into the garage to help Brenda with the furnace pilot light. Moments later, Brenda called 911. Her husband had been shot to death and she had been wounded. She told police two gunmen had attacked them in their garage.
Police investigating the crime quickly discovered that Brenda had been having an affair with a fellow church member and insurance salesman named James Pavatt. James had recently sold Rob a million-dollar life insurance policy. Friends also said Rob was feared for his life, and had become suspicious of his wife and the insurance agent.

On the afternoon of January 13, 2010, she was found dead in the bathroom of her boyfriend's Conyers, Georgia, home in the Bridle Ridge Walk subdivision. She had been beaten with a vase and stabbed repeatedly.

The Phillip Chad Dunn murder case

A spurned husband was sentenced to life in prison Thursday after a jury convicted him of murdering his wife after learning of her adulterous affair.
That Phillip Chad Dunn, 29, of Braselton, stabbed his estranged wife to death on Valentine's Day 2010 was never in question during the trial. However, defense attorney Wystan Getz asked a Gwinnett County jury to find Dunn guilty of the lesser offense of voluntary manslaughter, which carries a penalty of 20 years in prison, because he said he committed the crime in the heat of passion.
Assistant District Attorney Christa Kirk thought otherwise, asking jurors to find Dunn guilty of malice murder, which carries a mandatory life sentence.
The jury returned a verdict after deliberating for two hours. Dunn's life sentenc includes 24 months on probation, consecutive to a 20-year sentence he previously received for choking his wife two weeks prior to the murder.
Dunn also was convicted of aggravated assault and two counts of third-degree cruelty to children for slaying Shelley Dunn at a Walmart in Suwanee in front of their two daughters, who were then 6 and 8 years old.

The Valerie Dee Martin Case
alerie Dee Martin, born on September 13, 1967, was prosecuted along with three men. She was convicted of murdering a victim named William Whiteside, who was killed on February 28, 2003. Two of her co-defendants were convicted and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The third defendant's case is still pending.
Martin was sentenced to death in Los Angeles County on March 26, 2010.

Joel's Crime Stories Special Edition: Justice For Corey "CJ" Proctor
Brunswick Judicial Circuit District Attorney Keith Higgins has told Glynn County Superior Court he has dropped a murder charge against Akeem Brown in the March 2018 shooting death of Corley “CJ” Proctor and murder and conspiracy charges against Brown’s wife, Tiffany Brown, according to the Brunswick News.
Proctor, a 22-year-old from Brantley County, was found shot to death inside his car at the end of Golden Isles Parkway.
Tiffany Brown was arrested April 5 and charged with Proctor’s murder. Akeem Brown was arrested 10 days later, also charged with murder. Police believe the two lured Proctor to the remote location, where he was shot dead with a .40 caliber handgun.
Tiffany Brown was to be the key witness against Akeem Brown, but Higgins said she refuses to testify.
“The state cannot compel her to testify against him because of the marital testimony privilege,” Higgins wrote in the motion. “There is insufficient evidence at this time to prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt.”
The Brunswick News reported that Higgins discussed the decision with Proctor’s mother and sister before filing the motion.
