<p>Johnathan Fury returns with a new episode, a new guest and a new topic! </p><p><br></p><p>This episode with spoke with fellow military veteran and former pro wrestling referee and announcer Big D. We discuss our respective journeys in professional wrestling, as well as how are connection to professional wrestling impacted our respective military journeys. Frequent Guest and co host Nathan Neumann returns as well to join us as well. </p><p><br></p><p>This episode also touches on the impact of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball, it's impact on the game and how it is felt today, as well as how baseball looked during segregation. We also speak about Jackie's journey in the military (specifically his experience during WW2). This was an interesting and engaging discussion you won't want to miss! </p><p><br></p><p>Big D is an Air Force veteran of 16 years (and counting) and meteorologist. He has spent time as a referee, announcer and briefly as a wrestler in professional wrestling. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>Welcome back everyone! </p><p><br></p><p>After a hiatus for some personal matters, the sports nerd podcast is back! </p><p><br></p><p>We're excited to be back presenting content and it could not have come at a better time! Wrestlemania Season is upon us and heating up! The angles and stroylines have become even more intriguing than last years brilliant buildup. John Cena is a heel! CM Punk is still HIM, and many other intriguing angles going on! </p><p><br></p><p>Today's episode I speak with frequent podcast collaborators John Harrington and Nathan Neumann. We spoke immediately after the elimination chamber and had a fantastic conversation! Topics include John Cena's heel turn, where the Punk/Reigns/Rollins angle is going, Jey Uso, and more. We also speak about the craziness of the NBA, the Doncic effect, Steph Curry's greatness, and the trajectory of both The Minnestota Timberwolves and The New York Knicks respectively!</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Johnathan Fury is a retired professional wrestler and Iraqi Freedom veteran turned podcaster. He served 20 years in the MN Army National Guard and is now an aspiring businessman. He is a representative of both the veteran community, the black community, and the professional wrestling community. He has a passion for professional wrestling, sports, horror movies, and the supernatural. He brings a lifetime of wrestling knowledge and observations to the podcast with his unfiltered blend of humor and honesty to the pod. </p><p><br></p><p>John Harrington is a fellow Iraqi veteran of color who served with Johnathan Fury in the MNARNG. He is a diehard Timberwolves loyalist, a basketball coach, and frequent flag football player. When he isn't on the podcast, he is coaching his children in sports and spends time with his wife and kids in his down time. He brings incredible basketball knowledge and an organic enthusiasm for professional wrestling! </p>
