About John's Oracle Podcast
An Intuitive, Mystic, Podcaster and Blogger. John McVey has been researching spiritual, cultural, and metaphysical topics for much of his adult life. "My philosophy is that it is up to all to decide for themselves who they are. We all feel our way through life as best we can, learning and growing as we go. But we live in a world where we get bombarded with perspectives, teachings, and points of view. What to believe? Who to listen to? And all that time your answers lie within, not without." This is where you get to feel your way, and I get to feel mine. Welcome. mcveyonline.net

Finding Balance in a Divided World
In a world where everyone and its dog are telling you what to think, how do you find balance in a divided world? This episode explores the challenges of navigating extreme opinions, social media echo chambers, and the struggle to voice your thoughts authentically without fear of backlash. From the UK to the USA and beyond, we’re all feeling the tension of polarization, and the question is: how do we bridge the gap and respect differing perspectives? Join me as I reflect on the importance of looking at all sides of an argument and making up your own mind. Whether you're a fan of podcasts, blogs, or just thoughtful conversation, this is a space to explore ideas and challenge assumptions together. While I might not have all the answers, I encourage you to think critically, verify what resonates, and share your perspective. If you enjoyed this discussion, please like, share, and subscribe. Thank you for watching, and I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Let’s create a community that values respect, understanding, and meaningful dialogue! This is a public episode. The Eco-Terrorist Threat
The eco-terrorist threat and the radicalization of environmentalism! Following the disgusting act of eco-terrorism by Maggie Budd, where she poured excrement all over a memorial statue of Captain Sir John Moore. Let's look at a few other examples of despicable behaviour by so-called eco-warriors and perhaps a couple of suggestions as to what they could be doing instead. This is The Vodcast of Laird John. Royalist or Republican?
It needs to be said first of all that I’ve always been at least in principle a republican. That doesn’t mean that I have anything personal against the Royal family. I don’t. It just means I don’t think that a Royal family in principle is necessary or should be necessary in the 21st-century world. However, I’m also not supportive of those who chose to use such a difficult time for many in this country and around the commonwealth and indeed the world, in order to troll their disparaging commentary on the Royals all over social media. It’s akin to telling someone who just lost a family member how much you hated them. To do such a thing is beyond reprehensible. Continuing the negative and disrespectful rhetoric around the Royals isn’t going to make them go away. It doesn’t matter whether you are hating on a specific one or all of them in general. Hating them all over social media is like throwing stones, but always missing your target. The people you hurt aren’t those who you think you are aiming at. Escalating Misfortunes
Have you ever tried making up with someone after a disagreement that was dominated by mutual point-scoring? It’s hard, isn’t it? The gap can get so wide that reconciliation feels nigh impossible, even though the original disagreement may have been trivial. Truth Lost - What if everything you think you know is wrong?
If someone had told me thirty years ago that someday, I would find out that everything I think I know is wrong, I would have laughed and said, yea sure thing, but I doubt it. And by the way, I now think that it is quite probable that most of the things we think we know, that we take for granted as true are at least to some degree, false. New Age Deception - How dark projects infiltrated New Age!
There is so much information put out there by so many different sources, that it’s impossible to make heads or tails of it, never mind know who to listen to, what to read, who to believe. Different forums, avenues, sources, channels came from a similar starting point, then veered off in their own direction as interpretation and ego gets in the way of what may or may not have started out as something pure, from a genuine source. New Age has also been a victim of much infiltration from its outset. There's so much contradicting information out there, it's difficult to know what to believe v what to dismiss. Threads of truth within a mire of disinformation. Genuine channellings v MK Ultra. Spiritual information v pacification. About John; An Intuitive, Mystic, and Blogger. John is an avid spiritual seeker and has been researching spiritual, metaphysical, and a variety of related topics for much of his adult life. “All my research over the years cemented within me the belief that truth can only come from maintaining an open mind and always looking at all sides of an argument. I always make a point of reading perspectives and opinions that I don’t agree with as well as those that I do." Polarized Opinions - Stop Hating on those You Disagree With!
It seems that everything that's happening now and has over the last many years has been somehow designed to increase polarization in the world. Let’s take a look at who influences it and what feeds it by examining a few examples of recent polarizing topics; Trump presidency, Brexit vote, Covid policy/coronavirus act, Scottish Independence Movement.
