Chapter 43: The Holy Day Feast Of Frost and Flame
This chapter begins with Sir Lancelot recounting his journey of survival and gratitude, leading to a heartfelt reunion with the King of Nod, who turns out to be the knight who once saved him. The warmth of the feast is briefly chilled by the arrival of the sinister Bar Beel, whose icy presence disrupts the gathering but is ultimately countered by Piper’s quiet resolve and the group’s unity. As the night unfolds, the king’s humorous antics lighten the mood, culminating in a stirring speech that honors the kingdom’s resilience and its people’s strength. The chapter closes with everyone singing "Silent Night," the melody weaving through the room and beyond, uniting all in a spiritual celebration of peace, hope, and light for the year to come.
