<p>Alberto Costa nasceu a 6 de setembro de 1970, é licenciado em gestão de recursos humanos, mestre em trabalho social e intervenção socioeducativa e conta ainda com uma pós-graduação em gestão de proteção e socorro.</p><p>Com um passado ligado à Proteção Civil e aos bombeiros, foi 2.º Comandante Operacional Distrital do Porto na Autoridade Nacional de Proteção Civil, de 2007 e 2013, ano em que assumiu, pela primeira vez funções de vereador na Câmara Municipal de Santo Tirso.</p><p> O percurso político acabou levá-lo à presidência da Câmara Municipal, cargo ao qual se candidata pela segunda vez, em 2025, pelo Partido Socialista</p>
