Hello Friend.
So very good to be back on the cushion with you all! This break period has been much needed, and I am grateful to have taken the space I require to be with myself, and what is also true is that I missed being here.
I am not sure what the schedule for this program will be moving forward. I will attempt to have a more complete calendar soon. Thank you for your patience and kindness with me while I work out this process. In the meantime, I would love to read your stories, your comments, and questions! Michael@journeyhome.care is a great way to reach me!
The Broken Ground
Wendell Berry (https://poets.org/poet/wendell-berry)
The opening out and out,
body yielding body;
the breaking
through which the new
comes, perching
above its shadow
on the piling up
darkened broken old
husks of itself:
bud opening to flower
opening to fruit opening
to the sweet marrow
of the seed—
taken
from what was, from
what could have been.
What is left
is what is.
This poem came at just the right moment to sneak in through the cracks. I would love to have the conversation around this, and plan on hosting a weekly sit and share with meditation and poetry where we can do just that, together. I will, of course, announce the schedule as soon as it is ready to be shared.
Thanks for returning with me, friend.
Michael

Another Day In Paradox
Hello friend.
Let the paradox be your guide to understanding that there is less to be right or wrong about and more to be in the presence of. Every path takes us back to the center.
All In Love,
