Whether we are studying the Church’s theology, doctrine, methods, or mission, history needs to be a part of the conversation in order to have a well-rounded approach. We can only make sense of our present if we understand what we are building on from the past. The history of the Church has been a passion of mine for years. Consider coming in and joining me. As we unpack this story it has the potential to instill in us the importance of Bible translation for healthy discipleship in the Church.

<p>God used persecution to help His Church grow, but that didn't mean they were absent of conflict during this time. As martyrdom became a sad realty for believers, some began to revere the martyrs of the faith so much that death for ones faith was seen as the most elite destination for the Christin. What resulted was a very different philosophy on how to handle persecution. Go seek it out. How does this relate to us today? Listen and find out.</p>
