Join Dan and Rob on their mission to level up their golf game and qualify for The Rock — a legendary scratch competition at Charnwood Forest Golf Club.
Each episode they share real rounds, lessons, gear tests, coaching insights, and the highs and lows of chasing better golf.
Perfect for golfers who love progress, honesty, and a good laugh along the way.
Training Aid Dan, Winter Golf & a Season-Threatening Injury
It’s the Christmas special and the final episode of the year – and it’s a big one.
Dan finally puts the much-talked-about £650 LAB putter into play… but does it actually help on bobbly winter greens, or is it just another expensive experiment? The lads break down winter putting, long lag putts, three-putt avoidance and whether stats even matter when the greens are awful.
Meanwhile, Rob delivers the update everyone’s been waiting for: MRI results are in. What does that mean for golf and whether the Journey to The Rock can continue into 2026?
There’s also plenty of:
Winter golf reality checks
Skins games, snakes, and saving money on post-round beers
Training aids, alignment fixes, and honest self-assessment
Why winter golf can make your putting stats look worse… even when you’re playing better
The journey continues – but not without a few setbacks.
