Dave Frodsham: Who is the Greatest of All Time?

Who is the true Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T.)? While sports legends like Messi, Pelé, and Ronaldo eventually see their greatness fade with time and age, there is one person whose greatness remains consistent yesterday, today, and forever. In this preach, Dave Frodsham dives into Luke 9 to explore three critical questions that define our faith: – Who do the crowds say Jesus is? – Who does the Father say He is? – And most importantly – who do you say He is? There’s a big difference between simply knowing about Jesus and truly knowing Him personally – do you know Him today? The post Dave Frodsham: Who is the Greatest of All Time? first appeared on Jubilee Church Wirral.

Rick Robertson: One spirit, many gifts

Rick looks at 1 Corinthians 12:1–12 to explore what it means to live a naturally supernatural Christian life. Rick reminds us that hearing from God and moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit isn’t just for a select few – it is supposed to be part of the everyday DNA of the church. Rick talks about: Grace Gifts (Charismata): Spiritual gifts aren’t earned by being a Christian for decades. They are free, grace-filled gifts from God given to build up and encourage the church community. Pursue, Don’t Just Be Open: Rick challenges us to move from simply being “open” to the gifts to actively and eagerly desiring them, just as scripture commands. The Purpose is Edification: Whether it’s words of wisdom, prophecy, hospitality, or tongues, the primary goal is always to strengthen, comfort, and build up others in love. Testing Prophecy: Because we “know in part,” Rick emphasises the importance of sharing and receiving prophetic words with humility, always weighing them against scripture. A Word of Encouragement: Toward the end of the message, Rick shares a specific word for anyone who has been held back by fear from past experiences with the occult or secular spirituality: God has broken that fear. Your future is secure in His hands, and His plans for you are to prosper you, not to harm you.The post Rick Robertson: One spirit, many gifts first appeared on Jubilee Church Wirral.

Dave Frodsham: Strong Foundations

Dave looks at Ephesians 2 and Acts 2 to explore the fundamental foundations of the Christian faith. Using a practical illustration involving loose gravel and a shed base, he explains how Christians are designed to be built together to withstand the pressures of life. The Personal Foundation (Acts 2): Dave breaks down the four essential elements of a Christian’s personal foundation: Repentance (turning away from sin), Faith (trusting in Jesus), Water Baptism (the outward symbol of a changed life), and Holy Spirit Baptism (the power needed to live out our faith). What We Once Were (Ephesians 2:11-12): It is vital to remember where we came from so we remain humble. Without Christ, humanity was spiritually dead, hopeless, and completely alienated from God. What Christ Has Done (Ephesians 2:13-16): Through His blood on the cross, Jesus paid our debt and brought us near to God. He fulfilled the law and tore down the “walls of hostility” that divide people, establishing true peace. What We Are Now (Ephesians 2:19): When we trust in Jesus, our old life is history. We are no longer strangers or outsiders; we are citizens of God’s kingdom, built together as a diverse, unified church. Like individual pebbles locked into a foundation grid, we are made stronger together. The post Dave Frodsham: Strong Foundations first appeared on Jubilee Church Wirral.
