Rick explores the importance of standing in Christ and resting in His grace, rather than striving to prove ourselves worthy; abiding in Christ and growing in a real relationship with Him; and surrendering to Christ, allowing Him to shape our priorities, decisions and identity.

Dave Frodsham: Making disciples who make disciples
What does it really mean to be a disciple of Jesus? And how can we become disciples who make disciples?
In this message, Dave Frodsham of Jubilee Church Wirral explores Jesus’ Great Commission in Matthew 28:16–20, reminding us that following Jesus is about much more than making a confession of faith or attending church on a Sunday. Being a disciple means hearing what God is saying to us and putting it into practice.
Dave unpacks the call to make disciples, the characteristics of a disciple and the environment we need to create for discipleship to flourish. He challenges us to move beyond simply receiving the good news ourselves and to share it with others, building relationships, modelling a genuine faith and helping people grow as followers of Jesus.
Our calling is both to worship God and to see His kingdom advance. As we follow Jesus, we are called to equip and encourage one another, reach those who don’t yet know Him, and help new believers become disciples who will go on to make disciples themselves.
The good news is that we don’t do this alone. Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth, and He promises to be with us always.

Denise Griffiths: Being Family Together
Denise Griffiths explores what it really means for us to be “family together” as the church.
Building on our vision and values, Denise reminds us that church is much more than a group of people who meet together on a Sunday. Through Jesus, we have been brought into a new family — with God as our Father and one another as brothers and sisters.
Looking at passages from 1 Timothy, Romans and Acts, Denise challenges us to consider what being family actually looks like. How do we treat one another? How do we respond when someone is struggling, lonely or in need? Do we simply say, “I’ll pray for you,” or are we willing to stand alongside someone and pray with them?
The early church gives us a powerful picture of people doing life together — sharing meals, praying, worshipping, supporting one another and sharing what they had. Denise encourages us to recover that sense of belonging, care and practical love.
She also asks a challenging question: When people look at us, do they see something of our heavenly Father? Just as children often reflect characteristics of their earthly parents, our lives should increasingly reflect Jesus.
