Today’s message is all about Pentecost, the powerful moment when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the believers. It happened 50 days after Passover, the same day the Israelites once celebrated receiving the Law. But now, it’s the day God gave us His Spirit.In Acts 2, 120 believers were praying in unity. Suddenly, a sound like a rushing wind filled the room. Tongues of fire rested on each of them, and they began speaking in other languages, a sign that the Gospel was for all nations.Peter preached boldly, declaring Jesus as the risen Messiah. The crowd was deeply convicted. Three thousand people repented, were baptized, and received the gift of the Holy Spirit.Pentecost is not just a historical event, it marks the birth of the Church, the fulfillment of Jesus’ promise, and the beginning of our Spirit-filled mission today. The same Spirit now lives in us, empowering us to live boldly for Christ.
