The Jung Money Podcast #25: Andy Bromberg - CEO of Eco

Andy Bromberg is the CEO of Eco, a blockchain-enabled fintech company that is trying to revolutionize modern banking and disrupt financial infrastructure. Andy and his team at Eco realized that current banks are still utilizing extremely outdated batching systems and clearing procedures based on horse-drawn carriages. While banks have added better layers of technology, there is a true need to rebuild from the ground up. Fortunately, innovative advances in blockchain technology, improvements in fintech interoperability, and growing consumer mistrust of institutions have created the perfect environment for Eco to succeed. To date, Eco has raised around $100M from major VCs including a16z Crypto, Lightspeed, and Founders Fund.

A crypto early adopter, Andy has been building products and businesses in the blockchain space since 2012. His prior company CoinList played a major role in the ICO boom of 2017 and before that, he founded an expert-led political social network called Sidewire. Andy has been a major player in the startup ecosystem along with Ryan Breslow since dropping out of Stanford in 2014 and continues to be very involved in the community. Tune in to hear more about Andy's entrepreneurial journey and the future of Eco.

You can follow Andy at his socials below:

LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/andybromberg/

Twitter: https://twitter.com/andy_bromberg

Website: https://www.eco.com/

Thanks for tuning in - stay up to date by following The Jung Money Podcast here:

TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jungmoneypod

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jungmoneypod

Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/jungmoneypod

Anchor: https://anchor.fm/jungmoneypod

The Jung Money Podcast #24: Brandon Garcia - COO @ Mira AI (acq by FemTec Health)

Brandon Garcia is the COO/Co-Founder of Mira AI, an AI-powered beauty platform, that was recently acquired by FemTech Health. Brandon initially set out to leverage his data analytics skills, computer science acumen, and entrepreneurial passion to improve the broken customer journey in the beauty space, from browsing options to reading reviews to purchasing products. He was amazed by the warm welcome his team got from the beauty community yet shocked by how little technology was used to help and delight users. After building an impressive platform and raising $9 million from Unilever Ventures, Founders Fund, Glossier's Emily Weiss and others, Mira was acquired last year by FemTech Health, a conglomerate company which also owns Birchbox and will use its tech to send customers personalized products. Brandon now runs the product organization of Birchbox and is excited to continue growing as a technologist and leader. A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and Stanford graduate, Brandon recently moved from Silicon Valley back to his native Miami to help shepherd the rapidly growing tech scene. Tune in to hear more about Brandon's startup journey, the beauty industry, and Miami's tech hub future.

You can follow Brandon at his socials below:

LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/brandon-c-garcia/

Twitter: https://twitter.com/__BCG__

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brandedonyou/

Thanks for tuning in - stay up to date by following The Jung Money Podcast here:

TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jungmoneypod

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jungmoneypod

Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/jungmoneypod

Anchor: https://anchor.fm/jungmoneypod

The Jung Money Podcast #23: Sterling Campbell - CEO of Minotaur

Sterling Campbell is the CEO and Founder of Minotaur, an end-to-end NFT solution for creators. They are leveraging the asymmetric economic opportunity in NFT 10k drops to build the operating system for creators on Web3. One of their managed NFT projects, Castle Kid, was a record-breaking collaboration with grammy-nominated director, Colin Tilley. Prior to Minotaur, Sterling spent time in both venture capital at Grishin Robotics and Lerer Hippeau, and entertainment at William Morris Endeavor (WME). A former touring musician himself, Sterling has always enjoyed the cultural impact of entertainment and wondered how technology could disrupt this industry and empower creators. Fortunately, he discovered web3 and quickly realized that it was the perfect intersection. Tune in to hear about Sterling's background, Minotaur, and the future of NFTs.

You can follow Sterling and Minotaur at these socials below:

Website: https://www.minotaur.io/

LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sterling-campbell/

Twitter: https://twitter.com/DjSterlingC

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/castlekidnft/

Thanks for tuning in - stay up to date by following The Jung Money Podcast here:

TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@jungmoneypod

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/jungmoneypod

Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/jungmoneypod

Anchor: https://anchor.fm/jungmoneypod
