Juo Collab pairs composer and musician Adam Starr with a guest artist. They meet for an interview about creativity and collaboration, and in the process, they set themselves a creative challenge - to 'make something'.
Through filmed conversations, rehearsal sessions and creative experiments, new work is developed in real time, original work is discussed and workshopped, culminating in a live performance.
Episode 15 has us working through tunes, some experimentation, and an unexpectedly high amount of laughter. Melbourne music dynamo Rachel Moshel and I rehearse (and occasionally sightread) our original work and arrangements. The looping was a highlight.

What does a rehearsal sound like?
In this episode of Juo Collab, we run through the songs we shared and discussed in Episode 2, trying out different instruments, having a go at harmonies etc. In this episode, I refer to 'an extended episode'. I have mentioned this before, but for now, even though I have made them, I am waiting to upload them all at some point soon. If you have any feedback, I would be very happy to hear it!
