I reflect on my own journey, especially as my family and I have been considering building a home, and how this verse stopped me in my tracks. It reminded me that while it's easy to get fixated on the big picture (the house), we can’t overlook the foundational work that needs to happen first.</p> <p>I challenge you to think about this: What outside work needs your attention right now? Are you focusing on developing the skills and mindset that will support the life you're building? Are you making sure you’re ready to handle the blessings God has for you?</p> <p>I also talk about how it's crucial to make the work fit for yourself, not comparing your journey to others. It’s all about focusing on God’s unique purpose for your life, not someone else’s path.
