Why real health is never that simple.
You’ve probably been told “just take this” , a pill, a supplement, a protocol and sent on your way. But if real health were that simple, you wouldn’t still be dealing with symptoms, confusing labs, or the feeling that something’s not right.
This podcast is for people who want more than quick fixes. We talk about energy, digestion, stress, labs, and what actually matters between doctor visits and real life. Calm, science-grounded conversations to help you understand what’s going on in your body and what to do next.
Remember when eating healthy didn’t feel so complicated?
Now you’re standing in the grocery store trying to decide which yogurt to buy. One has too much sugar, the other has too much saturated fat, and somebody on social media has convinced you that dairy is inflammatory anyway.
And you’re thinking, seriously, what am I supposed to eat?
It’s even more frustrating when you’re already making an effort. You’re cooking at home, eating your vegetables, staying active, and then your cholesterol comes back high, your blood sugar isn’t where you’d like it to be, or your digestion is giving you trouble.
Does that mean you need to cut out even more foods?
In this episode of Just Take This, we’re having a conversation about how confusing nutrition advice has become, why we’re so quick to eliminate foods while spending money on powders and supplements, and how trying to do everything right can become another source of stress.
Because I don’t want you to feel that every meal is another opportunity to get your health wrong.

What does your gut have to do with menopause and brain fog?
Brain fog in perimenopause is real. But is changing estrogen the whole story?
In this episode I'm talking about the connection between estrogen, your gut and your brain, including what your gut bacteria have to do with estrogen, what all that serotonin in your gut is actually doing and why I don't think "It's just menopause" should end this conversation .

What if your symptoms are not separate problems?
What if your constipation, changing waistline, poor sleep and low energy aren’t completely separate problems?
In this episode, I talk about my own experience with perimenopause and digestion, a client whose stubborn constipation led us to look somewhere else, and the gap between getting health advice and knowing what to do with it.
Because eventually, you go home. And you still have to figure out what it all means.
