From John the Disciple to John the Elder JESUS Remains the Same
Despite travel, COVID and jet lag, as Jesus remains faithful, I endeavor to as well -- Welcome to the September episode!! We begin our reflection on the letters of John the Elder in 1 John. Where John the disciple tried to ensure that we knew who Jesus was from the beginning and treasured Him while He walked amongst us, John the elder reminds the growing churches (and us) to remember the Christ, now removed from his earthly journey, as faithfully as when He was physically present. To dilute, taint or otherwise tamper with Christ's remembrance does not end well for those who try nor is it fitting for us as His brothers and sisters.

JESUS PAID IT ALL (John Chapters 19 - 21)
The August episode looks at the final chapters of the Gospel According to John and these reveal to (or remind) us of what Jesus suffered as He completed the work that His Father sent Him to do. We are also reminded that He did this work for His disciples to be in communion with the Father -- ALL of His disciples. His work continues as does this journey with John.

JESUS: If He Told You Once, He Told You THRICE
In this month's episode we are looking at Chapters 16, 17 & 18 in the Gospel According to John. We knew the hour was coming, but it has now arrived. Jesus repeats many of the things He has said with His disciples (hence, the title), but He also offers a prayer for them before He is brought before the religious and political leaders who have decided to kill him. The people who have witnessed and benefited from His many signs and wonders will have no part of His murder, will they?
