Keep the Flagsticks In, Fitzpatrick Wins!
Matthew Fitzpatrick held off Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris to win his first major and tournament at the U.S. Open. The Avalanche look really good through the first two games of the Stanley Cup Finals and Steph Curry and Warriors won their fourth NBA Title in eight years. The Blue Jays had a rough week and have lost Ryu for the remainder of the season. The Canadian Grand Prix returned to Montreal and there was no stopping Max Verstappen as he won his sixth race of the year. Rory Puts On a Show in Toronto
The Canadian Open was back big time this past weekend in Toronto with a stacked leaderboard that saw Rory McIlroy defend his title and go back-to-back. The Stanley Cup it set with Tampa Bay thinking three-peat and Colorado looking for their first since 2001. The NBA Finals are deadlocked through four games and a winner will be crowned this week, will it be Steph and the Warriors or will the Celtics emerge victorious? The Jays continued their hot June and look to keep rolling with the Yankees in town this weekend. The CFL kicked off the new season with four exciting games.
