第21回 フォトグラファー河西春奈さんにお話しを伺いました。

第20回 Hideさんにインタビュー。オーストラリア シドニーに 移住し、美容室「atelierby ReNCOUNTER」を経営されています。
Hide 東京で5年間の美容師経験を積んだ後、2006年にオーストラリアに移住。 2014年1号店「atelierby ReNCOUNTER」を開店しました。店名の「ReNCOUNTER」は「偶然の出会い」という意味で、美容室を通じてコミュニティを形成することを目指して名付けられました。2015年に地球に優しい、身体に優しい、そして隣の人にも優しい全身に使用できるヘアプロダクトの開発。そして、販売。 2017年には2号店「CREATE by ReNCOUNTER」をオープン。美容室としての空間を活用して、ギャラリーやライブイベントの開催、廃棄野菜を利用したドネーションカフェ『earth kitchen』の提供、そして自分たちで生産できる能力や知識を高めるための数々のワークショップを開催。 さらに、2021年には美容室を通じて生まれたコミュニティによって作られるレモン製品『MOLEN』の開発、販売。偶然の出会いを必然の出会いに変え、個々の人に合った髪型や日常に合わせたヘアデザインを提供することに力を入れると共に美容室を通じてコミュニティを形成することに大きな価値を見出しています。
