Kaelan: A Pulp Radio-play
Tune into the crackle of a lost era.
Kaelan is a Pulp Radio-play set in the iron-cold reality of the Dubicros universe. Moving beyond the "chosen ones" of high fantasy, this series delivers a dose of Sword and Sorcery—where the stakes are human, the steel is heavy, and every choice leaves a mark.
The Aesthetic: This podcast is delivered in the deliberate style of an old-school, mid-century radio show. Using vintage "Trans-atlantic" filters and the authentic crackle of a dusty broadcast, we invite you to experience sword and sorcery as if it were transmitted through a vacuum-tube receiver from another time.
From the star-iron heights to the mud-slicked lowlands, sit close to your receiver and witness a world where legends aren't born—they are forged through grit and blood.
The transmission is live. The signal is yours.
Descending into the lightless depths beneath the jail, Kaelan finds herself in a vast, obsidian grotto where ancient history is no longer a myth. Standing before statues reaching a hundred and fifty feet high, she comes face-to-face with the Vorarex—a beautiful, porcelain-skinned goddess twisted by a six-headed basilisk and centuries of star-iron corruption.

But in a small town of empty markets and smoldering forges, the silence is finally breaking. Kaelan, a wanderer carrying a blade that screams in the presence of rot, arrives to find a village paralyzed by fear and a local authority hiding a dark secret.

The Grey Man
A new and formidable figure enters the fray. Monios, an ancient warrior of the Udaico whose life has been sustained for two millennia by his obsidian blade, returns to the ruins of Caer Uahm. Driven by a blood contract and a centuries-old score against a cult leader known as the Axe, Monios finds his path crossing with Kaelan’s.
As Kaelan seeks to reclaim her Black Locust bow and her identity from the shadows of the manor house, she must decide if she can trust this ageless stranger. Together, they prepare to face alert, grey-skinned soldiers and the perverted power of the Star-Iron in a desperate bid for reclamation and revenge.

Kaelan: Wyrm's Grasp
"I am not livestock." After a brutal ambush, Kaelan awakens in the suffocating darkness of a stone pit, bound in iron and stripped of her Palantinian rank. In this hollow of the Axen Wyrm, she is confronted by a weak-voiced captor who claims her imprisonment is merely a test for a new initiate. But Kaelan is no stranger to being traded like property. Drawing on the "righteous fury" of a past defined by betrayal, she must use her "studious eye" to craft an escape from nothing but bone, bronze, and blood. The pit was designed to break her identity; instead, it becomes the forge where a survivor is reborn.

But some threats cannot be seen until they are beneath your feet.

The Price of Blood: After a brutal raid leaves her family with nothing, eight-year-old Kaelan is sold to the Village of Palantine for thirty gold pieces.
The Adopted Daughter: Kaelan finds a new life under the tutelage of Elder Elianu, trading the pitchfork for a silver-and-blue sword and the lore of ancient libraries.
The Axen Wyrm: On a routine scout mission, nineteen-year-old Kaelan discovers that the "Beasts and Demons" of her childhood books are real, as a legendary cult of "bone-less" raiders emerges from the tree line.
The Betrayal: Abandoned by her commander, Kaelan faces an army alone. Now, she wakes in darkness, bound by iron in a cell of jagged stone.
Featured Lore:
The City of Caer Uamh: The great city that fell to the first tunneling siege of the Axen Wyrm.
The Black Locust: Kaelan’s weapon of choice—a bow as flexible and resilient as the woman who carries it.
