In the Eyes of Someone Walking Through Infertility - Ft Michele McLaughlin
Did you know that 1 in 8 couples have trouble getting pregnant or sustaining a pregnancy? I sure didn’t. Until I met Michele. 🤰🏻
She is one of THE most gracious and caring women I’ve ever known. 🖤 In this episode Michele isn’t here to tell a story past, but a story present - in real time - as its being written. As she and her husband Danny are walking through infertility, she invites us to walk beside her in faith. And she shares with us exactly how to do that.
Maybe you’re like me, and had no clue how common infertility is. 🤷🏽♀️Or maybe you’re experiencing this pain yourself and just need to be encouraged. 🖤
Michele is here to bridge the gap! In this chat, she shares her own story, brings awareness, identifies common blind spots, and offers us incredible wisdom and advice. 🙌🏾
Thank you, Michele, for offering your story as a gift to so many. We are so honored to walk and believe WITH you.

In the Eyes of a Waitress - Featuring Aisa Kessler
I'm the person who would rather clean a toilet than cook a meal. (God bless my poor husband.) So dining out is certainly a luxury I enjoy. I'm not gonna lie though, after a long day and being hangry, diabetic, and pregnant - it's easy for me to let those who wait on us fade into the background and even be critical of the way they do their job. I started to think about how these people are often working their tales off, being taken little notice of, and being given a LOT of flack when I just wanna be petty. I invited my buddy, Aisa, to give us the inside scoop - things we may not be aware of, simple ways to make the job easier, and ways we can engage that are simple and meaningful in valuing those who are serving us so well. #ThankfulToSitOnMyButtAndEat

A Race for Unity - Featuring Lauren Swain
In this episode, one of my most treasured friends - Lauren Swain -shares her story, her victory over addiction, her love life, and together we walk through a "race consultation". She opens up about pieces of her journey and what it's like being an African-American Woman in todays world. Raised with a narrative of dignity and pride for her heritage, Lauren's foundation was rooted in Christ. Along the way, she experienced bullying, racial slurs, demeaning comments, and other things that someone of a different color (like me) may not even realize is a common occurrence in others' daily lives. But for each "depth", Lauren has allowed God to exchange her pain for new heights and is using her voice to make a difference. Her passion is to celebrate humanity, to value each persons individual story, and see the world work in harmony - just as it is in Heaven.

In the Eyes of an Artist - Featuring Guz
Meet Guz! She's a freakin talented artist. She's an entrepreneur. She's built a company and brand that reflects the heart of Jesus for humanity. And she lives her life dedicated to serving others. Having walked through valleys of rejection, anxiety, depression, racial injustice, and more - she shares how God has pursued her, healed her, and placed her in a community of love. By opening up about her story and sharing pieces of her soul through her art - she is living her days to spread love and acceptance to others. Every work of art she creates, every piece of clothing she designs - is an act of worship to God, it's a story from her heart, and a gift from her soul with the intent of lifting others up. This woman is one to take note of, indeed.

Welcome to the Kaleidoscope
Hey people - I'm Tori Oh Townley, "The Girl with Kaleidoscope Eyes". Thanks so much for tuning in.
My dream in life is simply to name people as the treasures that they are. And that's YOU! I believe that every story, every voice, every person is part of a big masterpiece - a Kaleidoscope if you will ... and in all of our brokenness and colors - we are meant to reflect each other.
SO here I hope to highlight some of that beauty I see in and through people like you.
Here you'll find conversations from people who are making the world something lovely - whether it be through their art, their servanthood, through leading things like Dream Centers, being a mom to children with special needs, waiting tables and doing your best to love people -
I want you to know that YOU are a treasure.
And the Kaleidoscope needs you!
