My name is Jacob, I decided to start a podcast in the summer of 2023. If I had to categorize this podcast I would put it in the broad category of covering Society and Culture. I like to sprinkle in some sports coverage.
I talk about anything from my personal golf stories, to covering recent major American sports happenings, and even random stories about my phone conversations or what’s going on in my life.
My goal of this podcast is just to discuss things I experience from my perspective and hopefully it resonates with some people one way or another. Open to having guests in the future.

Kangaroo Kourt Episode 7: The 2011 SuperOutbreak
*******I SAID THE LAST EF5 WAS JOPLIN, THAT WAS AN ERROR, THE LAST EF5 WAS INDEED IN 2013, but it was the May 20th, 2013 Moore EF5*****
This episode, I do a sort of historical coverage of a day that lives in infamy for many residents of Dixie Alley and the meteorological community. The April, 2011 Tornado SuperOutbreak. More specifically, the most tornadic day in recorded history, April 27th, 2011. 5 EF5's in one day, over 300 tornadoes in 3 days.
How did this happen? How strong were these tornadoes? I try to explain these natural phenomena as simply as I can. You might just become a weather nerd like me if you give it a listen!
