Each episode will focus on one or more local poets - being interviewed and sharing some of their poems. They will range from highly accomplished and published poets, right across the spectrum to promising beginners, including school students. We want to discover what makes a poet tick; and why poetry is so important to so many of us.
In this 12th episode of series 2 of our programme highlighting poets on the Kapiti Coast, host Ingrid Prosser interviews Anne Powell about her poems which have been set to music, and how living on the Kapiti Coast influences her poetry. She reads several of her poems, and we hear a choir singing one of the musical settings of her poem 'Blessing'. Poetry and interviews with Ingrid Prosser.
