Karl Marx Does The Washing Up

About Karl Marx Does The Washing Up

Two people. One soul. And a pair of washing up gloves. Sometimes insightful, often absurd, Ilyas and Shy journey towards the crux of their existence whilst doing the washing up. On this path to enlightenment (and clean dishes) they inevitably attract the attention of notorious cult figures who seek to thwart their attempts at transcendence. If you are looking for an existential comedy to heal you from the banality of existence and the pains of washing up, this may well be the sonic encounter you are looking for.

S3 E8: Eschewing (ft. The Ghost of Ben Okri)

Ilyas and Shy, saddened by the passing of Ben Okri, explore whether or not they actively eschew understanding aspects of their lives in order to maintain their sanity. Whilst trying to define the word eschewing, the conversation inevitably forks down the divergent paths of Natural Selection, Wisdom, Love and Mental Health. **It has since been made clear to us by Ben Okri himself, that he is much very much alive and well**
