S1E20｜跳過指紋辨識，Google 助理下一步將支援語音付款
稍早，《Android Police》發現 Google 助理一項新功能——通過語音指令進行付款授權，取代了傳統的指紋授權付款。該功能仍在早期測試階段，僅開放給部分美國用戶。 目前有兩種方式開啟 Google 助理的「語音付款」功能：Google 應用程式 >> 更多 >> 設定 >> Google 助理 >>付款；這時應會跳出「透過 Voice Match 確認付款」頁面。 按照頁面敘述，語音付款能夠支援 Google 助理以及連結 Google 帳號的裝置。或許該功能尚未完善，頁面也提醒用戶，若有聲音相似的人或是持有錄皆有可能通過授權。 語音付款能施展的地方不多。目前僅限於 Google Play、Google 訂餐（限某些國家 / 地區）進行應用程式內付款。《Android Police 》表示，Google 的語音付款雖有限制，但規定卻模糊不清，譬如每筆交易的最大限制，可能就是指金額或交易量。 今年年初至今，Google 語音功能陸續加入敏感性設定，以及能訓練 Google 助理進一步認識你的聲音。官方尚未有語音付款的正式消息，但可確定的是語音付款技術尚未達到安全門檻，而 Google 正在朝這方向努力。 點子科技｜https://saydigi-tech.com/2020/05/23327.html

S1E19｜胎死腹中 Dyson 電動車外型首次公開
Dyson 去年終止電動車研發計畫，原因是「找不到可行的商業模式」。就在眾人忘卻 Dyson 電動車之時，品牌創辦人 James Dyson 卻在上週六媒體專訪中，首次公開 Dyson 電動車本尊。 5 月 16 日，《泰唔士報》獨家專訪先是重述了 Dyson 電動車發展簡史。2017 年，Dyson 電動車計畫正式啟動，內部代號為「N526」，Dyson 不僅要打造一輛車，就連電池也一併包辦，當時品牌預告，旗下第一款電動車選在 2020 年進入市場。 就如開頭所說，Dyson 電動車計畫最終仍宣告胎死腹中。若非創辦人 James Dyson 這次專訪，外界只能透過工程草圖想像 Dyson 電動車外觀。 根據 Dyson 說法，N526 電動車續航長達 600 英里（約 965 公里），這比特斯拉 Model 3 的 379 英里還要持久。電池效率上，N526 上的雙馬達系統在零百加速測試中僅花了 4.8 秒，最高時速約 201 kmh。 車輛本身，N526 車長 5 公尺，寬 2 公尺，高 1.7 公尺，可容納最多 7 個成年人。Dyson 在電動車內飾上也下了苦心，根據報導說法，座椅不但輕薄、牢固，頭靠還採用罕見的圓形設計。另外在圖片上還可看見儀表、儲放空間等小巧思。 點子科技｜https://saydigi-tech.com/2020/05/james-dysons-failed-electric-car.html

S1E18｜特斯拉投入低成本電池研發
5 月 14 日，《路透社》獨家消息指出，特斯拉正在投入新電池研發，其特色為成本低、壽命長，目標是讓電車價格與油車一樣便宜，而新電池最快今年底、明年初用於中國上市的 Model 3 車型。 報導引用知情人士消息，成本更低的新電池其使用壽命長達 1 百萬英里，相當於 1,600 萬公里。而壓低特斯拉電動汽車，是 Musk 長期以來的計畫之一。 2019 年，特斯拉先後收購了美國電池公司 Maxwell、加拿大電池公司 Hibar Systems，為的就是打造出成本低、大容量、壽命長的超級電池。特斯拉希望在 2020 年內達成可行駛 100 萬英里的電動汽車。 不過根據報導說法，這次「百萬英里」電池是由特斯拉與中國電池供應寧德時代（CATL）聯手開發。今年 2 月，《金融時報》報導指出，寧德時代授意於特斯拉採購磷酸鋰鐵（LFP）電池；而相較於含鎳、鈷電池，LEP 電池成本更便宜，再者，特斯拉還能藉由中國電動車補貼，再次壓低中國販售的電動汽車的價格。此外，寧德時代正在開發一種更簡易、便宜的組裝電池方法，這項技術將有助於減輕特斯拉車身的重量、成本。 另一方面，知情人士則認為，最終新電池將會用在中國以外的市場，譬如北美。 目前，特斯拉已經連續三季收入轉正，其股價也漲了近一倍，但誠如路透說的，Musk 下一步打算持續提高利潤、銷量，藉此步步拉升電動汽車市佔率。 點子科技｜https://saydigi-tech.com/2020/05/22753.html
