A super casual book podcast, by a mid 20s person who really needs to talk about all these goddamn books. Brought to you by Mk and Never Been Cooler productions,
Oh hey, it's another episode. Back to back episodes? Who are they? Anyway here's a list of horror books I either really loved or really did not, and a small debate on whether things can even be defined as horror. Send me your horror book recommendations! I've been trying to read other genres this year instead of just scary stuff, but I'm SICK OF IT and I simply demand to read more forever sorry this is a horror podcast now.
Lots of love, MK xxxxx
Ps. Thanks to Never Been Cooler Productions aka Thomas for editing my nonsense and making me go outside today

The books that impacted me the most (so far)
Oh hey!
So I talk about the books that had a big impact on me, either in choice of books or genre preference or just "WHAT" moments that stuck with me.
I do wonder if anyone read these fun bits that I write here, please tweet us an emoji of your choice NO CONTEXT if you do for whatever reason and I'll send you a meme in response.
Hopefully next episode won't just be me talking about the billion manga I read in July, either because I've found another topic or read more books. I'm just really into Hunter X Hunter right now ok you're not my real mom?? My only real moms are my ma, Thomas from Never Been Cooler Productions who edits this and got me a lucozade earlier, and my friend Jess who makes a damn fine charcuterie board.
Peace and love,
MK

What I read in June and why I'm obsessed with N.K. Jemisin
Hey!
Thanks for clicking on the inaugural Keep Her Lit episode, a podcast created because I've been driving my friends mad trying to talk about the books I've read recently.
This episode focuses pretty exclusively on what I read in June (as the title suggests) and touches briefly on what I want to read next month. Best laid plans of mice and men and all that though, t'll be interesting to see next month if I completely forget what interested me this time.
You can check my Goodreads here (https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/69812178-mk), and check out our socials at @keepherlit (https://twitter.com/keepherIit). Tweet me what you read! I genuinely get anxiety because I will never read every book, it's becoming a problem.
Cheers to Thomas and Never Been Cool productions for editing and producing, I promise I'll be louder next episode.
Mk
