Episode 9: Enough of the Nonsense

In this weeks episode, the election is... Over? Who really knows, the way it all panned out was less than desirable, but aside from the fraud and lawsuits that are floating around - it is time for Christians to make a stand. This year has shown that there exists a very real divide among the body of Christ. Many who proclaim the Name of Jesus as Lord and Savior have all but abandoned a consistent worldview that is centered on His Word. And if a Biden/ Harris presidency is what we are going to get, than it is what we deserve. Christians have to recognize just how much evil we have left to become common place in our culture, and that we will be held responsible for not being the kind of watchmen God is calling His people to be on Earth. But take courage. God is not gone or absent because of these events! Christians now must press into the Gospel, the Scripture, and our voices. We need to start taking serious, public actions against the issues we are being confronted with today. And what better time to start than now? I hope you all enjoy this weeks Episode! Episode 7: Does God Care How We Vote

In this week's episode I look into the current events coming up in our culture with the election so close. We do this by looking at a sermon given by my Pastor Tim Cash - but I also expound further from his sermon notes to cover the responsibilities of those who live in the Kingdom of God. And in light of the Christian's dual citizenship, how we vote matters. And I do believe it matters to The LORD. Episode 6: Biblical Justice Part 3

Hey Guys! This week we will start the process of looking at "Responsibility" in Dr. Keller's article. The responsibility he refers to is sin, acts of wickedness, and injustice. The narrative we hear a lot in todays culture is the unbiblical idea that all white people, and even some other people who are of different ethnicities, are guilty of the evil of "whiteness" and it is something inherent in white people because of actions from the past in history. We have to be Christians who speak the truth boldly and call out this foolish ideology, that has no desire to show love to neighbor. Our neighbors need forgiveness and hope that comes from Jesus Christ and not from the mouth and evil intentions of men. I hope Everyone enjoys this weeks episode!

Episode 5: Biblical Justice Part 2

In this, our second part of the rundown of Dr. Timothy Keller's Article on Biblical Justice, I reflect first on a talk Dr. Keller gave that shared the content of this article verbdom. And how he calls this article "Justice in the Bible" it really should say "An attempt to read Social Justice into the Bible." Remember we will be reviewing this entire article over many different parts. Also, keep your eyes out for an episode of Daily Reformation with yours truly guest staring! We discuss the major issues of "Self-love" and the harmful ideologies that create statements like "you are good enough." Tune in next week for part three! Have a great week and God Bless! \/ Timothy Keller's unbelievable discussion referenced at the beginning of this week's episode. https://youtu.be/J7vo9pYdbik

Episode 4: Looking at "Biblical Justice"

Due to an alarming Facebook post by Dr. Timothy Keller, I felt a need to read the article he was advertising through the post. After reading, I knew I had to discuss it on the podcast, and to be fair to Dr. Keller - he is a brother in Christ - this will be a multi part series of breaking down the article. To try and be consistent with Scripture and how it is being handled. I hope this first part is a blessing to all of you. Keep an eye out for part 2 next Monday! God Bless! Episode 2: Is Debate Good?

Debating, we are all to familiar with it in our culture today. In fact we all may be watching a presidential debate very soon, or we won't... Who know! Anyway, Christians have struggled through this topic a lot throughout History. We understand that conversation is good and that talking about what we believe is how people hear the Gospel. But what happens when we are met with disagreements? In this Episode Joshua tries to examine, through Scripture, if Debating is a good thing for Christians as we seek to engage the Culture with Christ. Episode 1: We Have Failed

Jesus gave us through Matthew 28 a very weighty command. We are to be people who go, who seek out the poor, sick, and rejected. However, in the "panic-demic" we have been facing for the past 7-8 months, it appears as though Christians have forgotten just how essential public ministry and the assembly of the saints truly is. Enjoy the Episode - and if you have any questions, concerns, or remarks please leave them in the comments or email Josh at thejoshuaprojectpod@gmail.com. New Episodes every Monday!
