Keepin’ it Catholic with Kim is a real, honest, and faith-filled podcast about what it actually looks like to live your Catholic faith in everyday life.
Hosted by Kim—a teacher, mom, and Jesus lover—this podcast shares personal stories, struggles, and growth, all rooted in the Catholic faith. From navigating doubt and learning to surrender control, to finding strength in the Eucharist, Adoration, Confession, and the example of the saints, each episode connects real life with the beauty of Catholicism.
This show is for anyone who grew up Catholic but wants to understand it more deeply, anyone trying to live their faith in the middle of real life, or anyone simply seeking a closer relationship with Jesus.
If you’re looking for encouragement, authenticity, and practical ways to live your faith, you’re in the right place.
Let’s keep it real… and let’s keep it Catholic.
In this episode, I’m sharing a couple of unforgettable Confession stories (including one I promise you’ll never forget 😂), why Catholics confess their sins to a priest, and how regular Confession is changing the way I look at sin, accountability, forgiveness, and God’s mercy.
Maybe it’s time we stop saying, “I have to go to Confession,” and start realizing…
We GET to go to Confession. ❤️

Episode 7- Running to Mary
In this episode, I share a very personal journey of how becoming a mom—and eventually learning to let go—opened my heart to the woman I had known about for years but had never really turned to. Along the way, we'll talk about the Rosary, the Wedding at Cana, and why Mary's greatest desire has always been to lead us closer to her Son.
Whether you've always had a devotion to Mary or you've never really understood her place in the Catholic faith, I hope this conversation encourages you to see her through a different lens.
Sometimes we don't fully understand a part of our faith—not because it isn't beautiful, but because we haven't reached the season of life where we need it yet.

Episode 6- Drifting
Life has a way of pulling us out of our routines. Vacation, family visits, travel, storms, and the unexpected can slowly cause us to drift—not just from our schedules, but from our prayer life as well.
In this episode, I share my own experience of getting off track this summer, a quote that challenged me to rethink what it means to be committed to prayer, and a few of the Catholic resources that have helped me reconnect with Christ. If you've ever felt like your spiritual life has drifted, I hope this episode reminds you that it's never too late to come back!

Episode 5- The Wrong Keys
What do a locked camper, a bin full of keys, and a locksmith have to do with our faith? More than I ever expected!
After Doug and I accidentally locked ourselves out of our RV, we spent hours trying key after key, convinced the next one would be the one that worked. It got me thinking about how often we do the same thing in life—searching for peace, purpose, happiness, and fulfillment in all the wrong places.
In this episode, I share a camping mishap that turned into a powerful lesson about the human heart, the things we chase, and why Jesus might be the only key that truly fits.
If you've ever felt restless, exhausted, or like you're still searching for something more, this episode is for you. Why? Because....sometimes the answer isn't another key. Sometimes it's the locksmith.

Episode 4-When Things Don't End the Way We Planned
What does losing my voice, state championship games, disappointment, and the Ascension of Jesus have in common? More than I expected!
In this episode, I’m reflecting on what happens when life doesn’t go according to plan—when endings look different than we hoped, prayers aren’t answered the way we imagined, or we find ourselves asking: God… what now?
If you’ve ever wrestled with disappointment, uncertainty, or trusting God when the story takes an unexpected turn… this one is for you!

Episode 3- From Disaster to Encounter- Finding Jesus on the Road
What do a broken RV door, tornado warnings, and a freezing night have to do with the road to Emmaus? More than you might think!
In this episode, I share a real-life story from a recent camping trip that didn’t go as planned—and how it unexpectedly connected to the Sunday Gospel from two weeks ago. (Luke 24:13–35).
The disciples walked with Jesus and didn’t even recognize Him… and sometimes, we do the same. I'll talk about what it looks like to walk through frustrating, confusing, or disappointing moments—and how God is often right there, even when we don’t see Him.
If you’ve ever wondered where God is in the middle of the mess… this episode is for you!

Episode 2- Locked Doors, Doubt and Belief
This weekend’s Gospel (John 20:19–31) hit me in a way I couldn’t shake.
The apostles were hiding behind locked doors—afraid, uncertain, and carrying everything that had just happened. And instead of a lecture… Jesus shows up and says, “Peace be with you.”
Then there’s Thomas—the one who needed proof.
And then there’s us… the ones who didn’t see, but are still called to believe.
In this episode, I reflect on how this Gospel connects to our lives—whether your heart feels locked, you’re struggling with doubt, or you’re trying to trust God without seeing.
We also connect this to Divine Mercy Sunday and the message of Saint Faustina Kowalska—a reminder that Jesus meets us with mercy, not judgment.
If you’ve ever felt guarded, unsure, or just not “there” in your faith… this one’s for you.
Wherever you are in the story… He’s already there.

Episode 1- Welcome to Keepin' it Catholic with Kim
Why am I Catholic?
Not just because I was raised that way… but because I chose it.
In this first episode, I’m sharing my story—how I grew up Catholic, struggled to truly understand my faith, and eventually made the decision to dive deeper instead of picking and choosing what I believed.
I talk about how some of my biggest doubts became the foundation of my strongest faith, and how powerful parts of Catholicism—like Adoration, the Eucharist, Confession, and the example of the saints—have completely transformed my life.
I also share a deeply personal moment of surrender in Adoration during my battle with body dysmorphia and an eating disorder… and how that became the beginning of healing.
This episode is for you if:
• You grew up Catholic but never fully understood it
• You’re questioning or wanting to go deeper
• You’re trying to live your faith in real, everyday life
• Or you just want to feel less alone in your journey
This is just the beginning… and I’m so glad you’re here.
If this episode encouraged you, be sure to like, follow, and share it with someone who might need it too.
Let’s keep showing up.
Let’s keep loving like Jesus.
And let’s keep it Catholic.
