The Keeping it DL podcast delves into David’s and Liz’s relationship and bring things on the down low to the table. Through embodying the importance of having conversations with one another, David and Liz also feature other couples’ love stories, creating an authentic space to open up about their experiences, realizations and insights. Get the full down-low of David and Liz navigating the love, the struggles, the laughter and the ever-evolving dynamics of romantic (and at times, not) relationships!
Ep. 9: Wrapping Up 2021 on a "High" Note (after a high-atus)
We want to say "hi" after a few-month hi-atus and wrap up 2021 on an update with life. In this episode, David and Liz share about what's been going on for the past several months and the unprecedented Plan-B in Liz's treatment plan. It's the first time that they both reflect openly of how the curveballs in Liz's health affected the relationship and what they learned about themselves and each other. Reliving and talking about the experience was healing, emotional and also humorous (of course, David never fails to turn anything into laughter). We hope you enjoy this episode and have a wonderful holiday season with your loved ones!

Ep. 8: Ceci, Do You Love Me? (cue Drake's beats)
We are back with this hilarious episode featuring the one and only, Cecilia Pham (which we have evolved to call her Ceci) , Liz's younger sister, who is also a HUGE Drake fan. No one knows Liz better than her sister, who has also become her best friend (thanks to the COVID pandemic that made us bond 24/7). Ceci gives us the DL with firm and opinionated statements like "boys are dumb and chicks are crazy", but also her wisdom on relationship advice. How does Ceci really feel about David? Are they at the "brother-sister" level? To what extent is the level of comfort between Ceci and David? What has been the biggest change that Ceci has seen in Liz? It comes down to, does Ceci truly love Liz and David as a couple? Don't miss this episode where these questions will be answered!

Tune into Liz interviewing David, while adding bits of her own comments about navigating David's career journey, figuring out what he finds value in, his mindset coming into any job, preventing burnout from a job and much more.

Ep. 6: Zoning in on Friends of the Opposite Gender
We're back with another episode! It's not about the friendzone (even though David did friend zone Liz at first), but it's about what we think of having friends of the opposite gender (assuming there could be a level of mutual attraction). What's it like hanging out one-on-one with a friend of the opposite gender and hanging out with friends together versus individually? Tune into this episode where we learned a lot of new things about each other as we somehow digressed and zoned in on our views on cheating and aired out some of Liz' not-so-great laundry 😉.

Ep. 4: Taking great PRIDE in celebrating ‘Marga & Karrie’
David and Liz feature their first couple, Marga and Karrie, and bring out the DL in their relationship. Marga has been one of Liz’s best friends for almost a decade as they stuck together through high school and university. In this episode, we learned about how Marga and Karrie met online, their first impressions of each other, and their bond over entrepreneurship. Not only that, we opened the conversation on exploring their sexual identity, reminiscing when Marga came out to Liz in Grade 11, and what it's like to be a gay couple now in 2021.

Ep. 3: Clocking in our Me Time vs. We Time
Crazy how time flies in a relationship sometimes! In this timely conversation, we, David and Liz, put their brains together and develop a 4-quadrant model (which is on our IG @keepingit.dl) to discuss on how they spend their time. It's not just clocking in the "me" time and "we" time. We dive in to what that means, what we do during these times...then somehow talk about Liz's haircutting endeavour, David's breakfast for champions, and Liz's mom role as a sous chef. It's been a hot minute as you can tell, but it is nice reflecting on our individuality as well as our identity in the relationship.

Ep. 2: How Our 'Whip' was the Driving Force that Made Us 'Whipped'
Let's take you back to the beginning of us... during the summer of 2014. What were our first impressions of each other? Who had a crush on who first? Who has more dating experience? It was such a fun and nostalgic conversation, reminiscing on our past selves and realizing how our WHIP was the driving force of our relationship that steered us in the right direction.
In this episode, we also discussed the so-called LOVE questionnaire, 36 questions to fall in love developed in the 1990s by psychologists Arthur Aron, Ph.D., Elaine Aron, Ph.D., and other researchers. These curated questions are meant to see if two strangers can develop an intimate connection just from asking each other a series of increasingly personal questions. Check it out in our Instagram bio!

Ep. 1: Being Dealt with the "C" Card
We are excited to share with you about Liz's personal cancer experience and how we are handling being dealt with the "C" card. In this episode, we will talk about how Liz found out, how her treatment is going, the side effects and more. We will also dive into changes in our relationship and even in our intimacy. It can't be anymore down-low than this!
Disclaimer: This episode was recorded a few days after Liz’s chemo because she was too excited, hence, the audio quality is not the greatest but it will get better!
