The Importance of Home Inspections

A home inspection is the most common contingency in Real Estate purchase and sale contracts due to the fact that it gives a buyer insight on the safety of a home. It is highly recommended because it can uncover potentially life-threatening problems like mold or faulty wiring that could cause a significant fire. Overall a home inspection is relatively inexpensive, gives a peace of mind, allows the negotiation of repairs, and provides a way "out".
