[…] And then over time, that- Are you talking about owning SPY and then overlaying an option strategy to go and have it do better in a down market? Yes, sometimes. It's both an absolute return fund that makes money with low correlation to the market. Yeah. Sometimes correlation is not a problem, but sometimes it is. Our correlation is about 0.3, 0.4, and it's spurious. So what that means is that it changes with time. It's dynamic. So our correlation can be high if VIX is at 12, and everything is fine. We don't consider beta to be a naughty word. But if the market's going down or chopping around, our correlation will go down, and beta is not something that we want. […]
